# Accounts

Your Ilmiya account is your personal identity on the platform. It gives you access to every organization you belong to, your profile settings, and all authentication options.

## How Accounts Work

One Ilmiya account can be linked to **multiple organizations**. When you log in, you’ll land on the organization selector and can switch between your organizations at any time without logging out.
