# Profile

Your profile holds your personal identity on Ilmiya. You can update it at any time from the dropdown menu after signing in.

## Accessing Your Profile

1.  Sign in at [platform.ilmiya.com](https://platform.ilmiya.com/).
2.  Click your **profile avatar** or name in the top-right corner.
3.  Select **Profile** from the dropdown.
4.  You’ll be taken to your **Profile page**.

## What You Can Edit

### Name

Update your first and last name as they appear across the platform.

1.  Click on the **First Name** or **Last Name** field.
2.  Type your updated name.
3.  Click **Save**.

### Title

Add or update your title (_Mr._, _Mrs._, _Miss._ or _Sir._).

1.  Click the **Title** dropdown.
2.  Select your title.
3.  Click **Save**.

### Display Name

Your display name is what other users see in conversations, activity feeds, and notifications. It can differ from your full name.

1.  Click on the **Display Name** field.
2.  Enter the name you want displayed.
3.  Click **Save**.

### Profile Picture

1.  Click the edit icon on your current **profile picture** and choose **Upload Avatar**.
2.  Choose an image file (up to 20 MB).
3.  Click **Save**.

## Reset Your Password from Profile

You can also reset your password directly from the profile page without going back to the sign-in screen.

1.  On your Profile page, under **Login**, click **Forgot your password?**
2.  Check that the **email address** shown is the one linked to your account.
3.  Click **Reset password**.
4.  Check your inbox for the reset email and follow the link to set a new password.
