# Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence is reshaping education, and the **Ilmiya Language Model (ILM)** stands at the center of this transformation. ILM provides smart, AI-powered tools that help educators automate tasks, personalize learning, and improve overall efficiency.

## What is ILM?

ILM is a suite of AI-driven models designed to support teachers through predictive, context-aware automation. Under the hood, it runs on a mix of self-hosted and third-party hosted models — an underlying platform detail rather than a setting admins choose or configure.

## Inside the ILM Interface

The Intelligence page gives admins two organization-wide toggles to turn ILM-powered features on or off:

| **Experts** | Enable or deactivate the Experts feature for the entire organization |
| **Aide** | Enable or deactivate the Aide conversational assistant for the entire organization |

Aide is Ilmiya’s conversational AI assistant for staff and students. From this page, admins can only switch it on or off for the organization — the chat experience itself lives elsewhere in the product.
