# Getting Started with Aide

Aide is accessible from the Ilmiya platform navigation. This section walks you through accessing the portal and understanding what’s available to you.

## Before You Begin

To use Aide you need:

-   An active Ilmiya account
-   **Aide** enabled for your organization (contact your administrator if it’s not visible)
-   A modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
-   A microphone if you plan to use voice features

## Accessing Aide

1.  Log in to your Ilmiya account.
2.  Look for **Aide** in the top navigation or app switcher.
3.  Click **Aide** to open the portal.

You’ll land on the Aide dashboard — the main chat interface.

> **Note**
>
> If Aide is not visible in your navigation, it has not been enabled for your organization. Contact your administrator to request access.
