# Awards

The **Awards** section is your personal progress and achievement hub. Everything Ilmiya tracks about your learning — grades, activity, rankings, and earned rewards — lives here across seven tabs.

**Performance & analytics** — how you’re doing:

| Tab | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| **Grades** | Lesson completion and accuracy, summarized across all your quizzes |
| **Activity** | Participation and engagement over time |
| **Rank** | Your position on the overall leaderboard |

**Rewards & recognition** — what you’ve earned:

| Tab | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| **Points** | Total points earned and a breakdown by source |
| **Trophies** | Trophies won on individual lessons based on score |
| **Badges** | Badges collected as your lifetime coin balance grows |
| **Rewards** | Behaviour points assigned by your teachers |

> **Tip**
>
> Check your Awards section regularly — seeing your progress laid out is one of the best motivators to keep going.

For the exact formula behind every number in this section, see the [Metrics Reference](https://ilmiya.com/docs/campus/awards/metrics-reference/).

> **Note**
>
> Grades here summarizes your accuracy and completion across every lesson. For full attempt history and the per-attempt mastery icons shown on lesson tiles, see [Courses & Pathways](https://ilmiya.com/docs/campus/learning/courses-and-pathways/) in Learn.

> **Note**
>
> Want to review a specific question from a past attempt? Open its [Lesson Report](https://ilmiya.com/docs/campus/learning/lesson-report/) and tap a question row for a read-only preview of what you answered.

## Grades

The **Grades** tab summarizes how many lessons you’ve completed and how accurately you’re answering — three headline cards (Lessons Completed, Accuracy, Questions Answered) plus a table of every completed lesson.

```
Accuracy = your average accuracy across all completed quizzes
```

Each lesson row also carries a **mastery label** — Expert (100%), Proficient (≥ 85%), Competent (≥ 70%), or Beginner (below 70%) — based on your average accuracy on that lesson. See [Grades](https://ilmiya.com/docs/campus/awards/grades/) for the full breakdown, including how it differs from the mastery icons in Learn.

<a id="activity"></a>

## Activity

The **Activity** tab shows the volume of questions you’ve answered over time, as a daily / weekly / monthly chart — a count chart, not a social feed:

```
activity = Σ questions answered  (per time bucket)
```

<a id="progress"></a>

### Progress

Alongside Activity, Campus shows **Progress** — not a single ”% of course complete” number, but how this period compares to the last:

```
progress % = (current − previous) ÷ previous × 100
```

This is shown as a this-week-vs-last-week (or similar period) change in your points and time totals.

<a id="using-activity-to-self-review"></a>

### Using Activity to Self-Review

If your grades aren’t where you want them:

1. Open the Activity tab and look for gaps — days or weeks with no activity
2. Cross-reference with your Grades to see which lessons had low scores
3. Go back to those lessons in Learn and retry them

> **Tip**
>
> Aim to log in and complete at least one lesson every day to build and maintain your streak. Consistent activity compounds over time.

<a id="leaderboards"></a>

## Leaderboards

The **Rank** tab shows how you compare to other learners in your organization, led by a top-3 podium and a full sortable table (opened scrolled to your own position).

<a id="how-rankings-work"></a>

### How Rankings Work

Campus actually has more than one leaderboard, and they don’t all rank the same way. The **Overall Leaderboard** (shown in this Rank tab) puts points first, falling through a fixed sequence of tie-breakers:

1.  Total points (highest first)
2. Total time (fastest wins ties)
3.  Average accuracy (highest first)
4.  Average speed (highest first)
5. Account age (older account wins remaining ties)

The **Lesson Leaderboard** — shown after you complete a specific lesson — flips that priority, ranking by speed first instead. See [Leaderboards](https://ilmiya.com/docs/campus/awards/leaderboards/) for the full breakdown of both.

<a id="improving-your-rank"></a>

### Improving Your Rank

1. **Complete more lessons** — every completed lesson adds points
2. **Improve accuracy** — higher scores on lessons earn more points
3. **Maintain daily streaks** — streak bonuses add up quickly
4. **Retry lessons** — improving your score on a retry can add more points

> **Tip**
>
> Consistency beats cramming. Logging in every day and completing even one lesson will grow your rank faster than one big session per week.

## Points & Streaks

Points and streaks are Campus’s core engagement mechanics. Points are earned by completing lessons and activities. Streaks reward you for showing up consistently every day.

<a id="how-points-are-earned"></a>

### How Points Are Earned

Each question carries a point value (1 by default). A correct answer earns the full points; a wrong answer earns zero. Questions grouped together are all-or-nothing — the group’s points are only earned if every question inside it is correct:

```
points earned  = Σ (points of each correctly-answered question)                 + Σ (points of each group where every question in it is correct)lifetime coins = Σ (points earned across all quizzes)
```

Your lifetime coin balance is what drives your Badges tier and your position on the Leaderboard.

<a id="how-streaks-work"></a>

### How Streaks Work

A **streak** is a count of consecutive days you’ve been active on Campus. Log in and complete at least one activity each day to keep your streak alive.

- Your streak counter increments by 1 each day you’re active
- A day counts once your daily time-spent target is met
- Missing a day resets your streak back to 1, not zero
- Your **longest streak** ever is recorded separately from your current streak

<a id="in-lesson-streaks"></a>

### In-Lesson Streaks

Answering multiple questions **correctly in a row** within a lesson builds a per-lesson streak and triggers bonus coin animations on screen. This is separate from your daily streak.

<a id="claiming-streak-bonuses"></a>

### Claiming Streak Bonuses

On certain streak milestones (e.g. 3 days, 7 days, 30 days), a **claim** button appears. Tap it to collect the bonus points or rewards tied to that milestone.

> **Tip**
>
> Don’t forget to claim your streak bonuses — unclaimed bonuses may expire. Check your Awards section after reaching a milestone.

> **Caution**
>
> Your daily streak is based on your local timezone. Make sure your timezone is set correctly in your Profile to avoid unexpected resets.

<a id="badges--trophies"></a>

## Badges & Trophies

Badges and trophies are visual representations of your achievements on Campus. Both are awarded automatically by the system — there’s nothing to apply for or claim.

<a id="trophies"></a>

### Trophies

Trophies are awarded per lesson, based on the correct-answer ratio you achieve on its quiz:

| Score on lesson | Trophy |
| --- | --- |
| 100% | Platinum |
| ≥ 85% | Gold |
| ≥ 70% | Silver |
| Below 70% | Bronze |

<a id="badges"></a>

### Badges

Badges unlock automatically the moment your lifetime coin balance crosses a tier’s threshold — 14 tiers (Bronze → Vibranium), 10 levels each, for 140 badges total. Each level unlocks at `tier start + (per-level gap × level number)`:

| Tier | Starts at (XP) | Per level | Tops out at |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Bronze | 0 | 100 | 1,000 |
| Graphite | 1,000 | 400 | 5,000 |
| Quartz | 5,000 | 500 | 10,000 |
| Silver | 10,000 | 500 | 15,000 |
| Jade | 15,000 | 1,000 | 25,000 |
| Gold | 25,000 | 2,500 | 50,000 |
| Pearl | 50,000 | 5,000 | 100,000 |
| Titanium | 100,000 | 5,000 | 150,000 |
| Platinum | 150,000 | 5,000 | 200,000 |
| Emerald | 200,000 | 10,000 | 300,000 |
| Sapphire | 300,000 | 10,000 | 400,000 |
| Ruby | 400,000 | 15,000 | 550,000 |
| Diamond | 550,000 | 20,000 | 750,000 |
| Vibranium | 750,000 | 25,000 | 1,000,000 |

<a id="badges-vs-trophies"></a>

### Badges vs Trophies

|  | Badges | Trophies |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Scale** | Lifetime coin balance milestones | Per-lesson score achievement |
| **Frequency** | Unlocked as coins accumulate | Awarded every lesson completion |
| **Purpose** | Recognize long-term progress | Recognize performance on a single attempt |

> **Tip**
>
> Your current badge level and XP are also shown on your Home screen.

<a id="rewards"></a>

## Rewards

**Rewards** is the teacher behaviour-points system (conduct) — separate from the quiz coins that drive badges and ranking. Teachers assign positive or negative points to recognize (or flag) classroom behaviour.

<a id="how-rewards-work"></a>

### How Rewards Work

Your reward total is the sum of the positive points your teachers have assigned, minus the sum of any negative points:

```
reward total = Σ positive points  −  Σ |negative points|
```

> **Note**
>
> Rewards are entirely staff-assigned — there’s no self-service redemption flow. Speak to your teacher if you have questions about a points entry.
