# Navigating Campus

Campus is organized into a few core areas, reachable from the **Apps** switcher and a couple of icons in the top bar. Here’s a quick map so you know where everything lives.

## The Apps Switcher

Click the **Apps** icon in the top bar to open a dropdown with every app you have access to:

| App | What it opens |
| --- | --- |
| **Home** | Your Campus home screen and dashboard |
| **Learn** | Courses and pathways |
| **Awards** | Grades, activity, points, badges, trophies, and rewards |
| **Canvas** | Read, recite, and interact with the Quran |
| **Aide** | Ilmiya’s AI assistant |

> **Note**
>
> Canvas and Aide are optional features — they only appear in your Apps switcher if your organization has enabled them.

## Top Bar Icons

Two icons sit outside the Apps switcher, always visible in the top bar:

| Icon | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Inbox** | Shows a badge with your unread notification count, plus a link to your full Discussions and Messages |
| **Profile avatar** | Opens a dropdown with **Profile** and **Logout** options |

> **Note**
>
> The Apps switcher itself doubles as a “current page” indicator — its icon and label change to match whichever section you’re on (Home, Learn, Awards, etc.), so it won’t always show the Home icon.

## Home Screen

The home screen is the first thing you see after logging in. It gives you a quick overview of your activity and shortcuts to recently accessed content.

## Learn

The **Learn** section is where all your courses live. From here you can:

-   Browse the courses you’re enrolled in
-   Open a lesson and start learning
-   Open a pathway to see its courses, lessons and that pathway’s assignments

> **Note**
>
> Assignments don’t have their own separate page — they live under the **Assign** tab in your **Inbox** (and each pathway has an **Assign** tab for its own assignments).

## Awards

The **Awards** section is your progress and achievement hub. It has seven tabs:

-   **Grades** — Your per-lesson gradebook and mastery history (this is the default tab)
-   **Activity** — A chart of questions answered over time
-   **Rank** — Your overall ranking within your organization
-   **Points** — Points earned from completing lessons and activities
-   **Trophies** — Trophies won on individual quizzes based on score
-   **Badges** — Badges unlocked as your lifetime coin balance grows
-   **Rewards** — Behaviour points assigned to you by your teachers

## Inbox

Your **Inbox** is your communication hub, reachable from the Inbox icon in the top bar. It has three tabs:

-   **Discussions** — Group channels assigned by your teacher where you can post and reply
-   **Messages** — Message threads you start to ask a question; a teacher or admin replies and the thread can be marked open or closed (this isn’t a direct 1:1 chat with other users)

## Profile

Your **Profile** shows your profile photo and personal information (name, username, student ID, date of birth, gender). These fields are read-only and managed by your organization.

> You can return to the home screen at any time by clicking your **organization’s logo** or selecting **Home** from the Apps switcher.
