This Cookie Notice explains how Ilmiya, Inc. uses cookies and similar browser storage on its public website and support portal. It supplements our Global Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information and how to exercise your privacy rights.

These website choices do not describe every feature inside an institution’s learning environment or control a separate service you choose to open. The notice for that service explains its own processing.

About cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar browser storage can remember preferences or information needed for a feature you use. A cookie may last for a single browsing session or remain until it expires or is deleted.

Cookies can be set by Ilmiya or by a service provider acting for us. Their purpose determines the choices that apply.

Cookie categories

Strictly necessary

These cookies support functions required to provide the service you request. They help protect the website against abuse, maintain a secure support session and remember privacy choices. They operate independently of optional Analytics and Marketing consent. Blocking them through your browser may prevent a requested function from working.

Functional

Functional storage remembers preferences you select, including display settings and settings within an applet. It allows a feature to respond to your choices or resume with your preferred settings. The website’s cookie controls offer separate choices for Analytics and Marketing; they do not provide a separate Functional switch. Browser controls allow you to clear saved preferences.

Analytics

With your consent, analytics help us understand how visitors use the website and identify faults or performance problems. Information can include pages visited, clicks, device and browser details, and technical diagnostics associated with a browser or session identifier.

A limited sample of analytics-enabled visits may include session replay, which reconstructs interactions such as clicking and scrolling. Form inputs and designated form messages are masked in replay. Technical diagnostics may include error and console logs. The information collected remains subject to our Privacy Policy.

Replay is separate from audio processed by a product voice feature. Masking fields does not make all page content or diagnostic information anonymous.

Marketing

With your consent, marketing cookies help us understand interest in Ilmiya and connect website visits with interactions with our team. These choices concern the public website. They do not authorize use of student records for advertising or change our Student Privacy Commitments.

Consent and privacy signals

Analytics and Marketing are disabled until you choose to allow them. Browsing the website or dismissing a notice does not constitute consent. You can submit a contact or legal inquiry without accepting either optional category.

A saved choice remains valid for 180 days. On a subsequent page load after that period, optional tracking remains disabled until you make a new choice. We may request a fresh choice when the purposes of optional processing change.

A recognized Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal disables both optional categories, including where a previous saved choice permitted them. That browser signal takes priority while it remains active.

Managing your choices

Select Open cookie settings on this page to review or change your preferences. Reject all disables Analytics and Marketing. You may also allow either category separately. The Cookies control in the desktop footer opens the same settings; on smaller screens, open Legal, then Cookie Notice.

Withdrawing consent stops future optional collection governed by that choice. It does not recall information already transmitted or affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Requests concerning information already held are addressed under our Privacy Policy.

Preferences apply to the browser and website address where they are saved. They may not carry across devices, browser profiles or other Ilmiya domains. Browser controls can block or delete cookies and other stored information. Deleting that information may remove your preferences and require you to make a new choice. Optional tracking remains disabled until you permit it again.

Cookie choices do not unsubscribe you from email communications. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email to change that preference.

Storage duration

Session storage generally ends with the browsing session. Persistent preferences remain until they expire, are replaced or are cleared through the website or browser. Our privacy choice is used for 180 days; an expired saved record does not authorize continued optional tracking.

Support portal cookies have a 12-hour lifetime that may renew during an active session. Signing out clears the cookies used for that session. Some optional marketing cookies remain for up to six months, while analytics cookie lifetimes may extend to one year. Provider or browser settings can shorten those periods, and permitted later use may renew a cookie. Other persistent browser storage remains until it is cleared or replaced.

These periods concern information stored in your browser. Retention of information already received by Ilmiya or a provider is governed by the purposes and retention terms in our Privacy Policy.

Service providers and external services

We engage service providers to support website security and, where permitted by your choices, analytics and marketing. Our Subprocessors and Service Providers page identifies providers and links to their privacy information. The Privacy Policy explains how information is shared and the protections that apply.

An external website or service that you choose to visit manages its own cookies under its notices. Ilmiya’s website settings do not control that service’s choices.

Changes and contact
