On August 8, 2024, Google announces Ilmiya as one of 15 companies in the first Google for Startups AI Academy: American Infrastructure cohort.
The 12-week program brings founders together for an AI curriculum led by Google’s People + AI Research team, with dedicated mentorship and business workshops. Google includes education alongside fields such as water management and transportation in its focus on essential public services.
For Ilmiya, this recognition places the needs of educators and learners in a wider conversation about the infrastructure communities depend on. We build with that responsibility in mind: a lesson should be easier to prepare, and a learner should be able to find the support they need.
