AI Experts

AI Experts are pre-configured AI assistants, each focused on a specific domain or subject. Instead of chatting with a general AI, you select an expert whose entire knowledge and communication style is tuned to their specialty — like choosing the right tutor for the right subject.

Accessing Experts

1. Click Experts in the Aide navigation, or click the Experts quick-action button on the welcome screen.
2. The Experts page opens with all available experts displayed as cards.

Browsing Experts

Experts are shown in a grid with their name, icon, and a short description of their specialty.

• Use the search bar to find an expert by name or subject
• Toggle between grid view and list view using the view switcher
• Each card shows what the expert focuses on

Selecting an Expert

1. Click on an expert card.
2. Aide loads a new chat session with that expert’s context applied.
3. Start typing your question — the expert’s focus is already active.

When chatting with an expert, all responses are shaped by their specialization. A science expert will answer with scientific depth; a writing coach will focus on structure and clarity.

What Experts Are Good For

Tip

Experts work best when you provide context. Tell the expert your level (“I’m in Year 9”) or your goal (“I have an exam on Friday”) at the start of the session for more tailored responses.

Returning to General Chat

To go back to the general AI without an expert context:

1. Click New Chat in the sidebar.
2. The new session starts with no expert applied.

Note

The experts available to you depend on what your organization’s administrator has published. If you’d like a specific type of expert that isn’t listed, ask your administrator to add it.
