Verse Practice

Verse Practice uses drag-and-drop exercises to help you connect Arabic words with their meanings and pronunciations. It’s an active, hands-on way to reinforce vocabulary and verse comprehension.

  1. Click Practice in the top navigation.
  2. Select Verse Practice from the practice menu.
  3. Choose the Surah you want to practice.

Verse Practice offers two matching formats:

ExerciseWhat you do
Arabic → TranslationDrag Arabic words to match their correct English (or selected language) translation
Arabic → TransliterationDrag Arabic words to match their correct romanized pronunciation

Both formats test your recognition of individual Arabic words within the context of a verse.

  1. A verse is displayed with its Arabic words shown as draggable cards.
  2. Translation or transliteration tiles are displayed in a separate area.
  3. Drag each Arabic word to its matching tile.
  4. Once all words are placed, click Submit to check your answers.
  5. Correct matches are highlighted in green; incorrect ones are shown in red.
  6. Review your mistakes and click Try Again or Next Verse to continue.

After submitting, the AI evaluates your answers and provides:

  • A score for the exercise
  • Corrections for any incorrect matches
  • A brief explanation of each word’s meaning

Your exercise results are saved. Over time you can see which verses and words you consistently get right and which ones need more work.
