Verse Practice
Verse Practice uses drag-and-drop exercises to help you connect Arabic words with their meanings and pronunciations. It’s an active, hands-on way to reinforce vocabulary and verse comprehension.
Accessing Verse Practice
Section titled “Accessing Verse Practice”- Click Practice in the top navigation.
- Select Verse Practice from the practice menu.
- Choose the Surah you want to practice.
Exercise Types
Section titled “Exercise Types”Verse Practice offers two matching formats:
| Exercise | What you do |
|---|---|
| Arabic → Translation | Drag Arabic words to match their correct English (or selected language) translation |
| Arabic → Transliteration | Drag Arabic words to match their correct romanized pronunciation |
Both formats test your recognition of individual Arabic words within the context of a verse.
How an Exercise Works
Section titled “How an Exercise Works”- A verse is displayed with its Arabic words shown as draggable cards.
- Translation or transliteration tiles are displayed in a separate area.
- Drag each Arabic word to its matching tile.
- Once all words are placed, click Submit to check your answers.
- Correct matches are highlighted in green; incorrect ones are shown in red.
- Review your mistakes and click Try Again or Next Verse to continue.
AI Feedback
Section titled “AI Feedback”After submitting, the AI evaluates your answers and provides:
- A score for the exercise
- Corrections for any incorrect matches
- A brief explanation of each word’s meaning
Tracking Progress
Section titled “Tracking Progress”Your exercise results are saved. Over time you can see which verses and words you consistently get right and which ones need more work.
