Live Meetings
Live Meetings are extended, immersive AI voice sessions where you can have a full back-and-forth audio conversation with AI. Unlike the Voice Assistant, Live Meetings support barge-in — you can interrupt the AI mid-response, just like a real conversation.
Available Meeting Types
Section titled “Available Meeting Types”| Type | Powered by | Route |
|---|---|---|
| Gemini Live | Google Gemini | /live |
| Azure Live | Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services | /live-azure |
Both types offer the same conversational experience. Your organization may have one or both available depending on configuration.

/liveor/live-azure). - The meeting interface opens with an audio visualizer.

How Live Meetings Work
Section titled “How Live Meetings Work”- Your voice is captured and streamed as audio chunks to the AI in real time
- The AI processes and responds with streamed audio played back through your speakers
- An audio visualizer shows live activity — both when you’re speaking and when the AI responds
- You can interrupt the AI mid-response (barge-in) — the AI stops and listens to you immediately
Barge-In
Section titled “Barge-In”Barge-in means you can speak while the AI is still responding and it will stop to listen to you. This makes the conversation feel natural — you don’t have to wait for the AI to fully finish before asking a follow-up.
Ending a Session
Section titled “Ending a Session”- Click End Call or the disconnect button.
- The audio connection closes.
- You’re returned to the Aide interface.
