Channels
Channels are group discussion spaces created by your teacher or administrator. They’re used for class announcements, Q&A, topic discussions, and collaborative conversations.
Accessing Channels
Section titled “Accessing Channels”- Click Inbox in the top navigation.
- Select the Discussions tab.
- You’ll see a list of all channels you’ve been added to.
Browsing Channels
Section titled “Browsing Channels”Each channel is listed with its name and a preview of the latest message. Click on any channel to open the full conversation.
- Use the search bar to find a specific channel by name.
- Channels with unread messages are highlighted so you don’t miss anything.
Reading a Channel
Section titled “Reading a Channel”Inside a channel you’ll see all posts in chronological order — oldest at the top, newest at the bottom. Each post shows:
- The author’s name and avatar
- When it was posted
- The message content (text, images, or attachments)
- Any replies and reactions on that post
Posting in a Channel
Section titled “Posting in a Channel”- Open the channel you want to post in.
- Click the message input at the bottom.
- Type your message.
- Press Enter or click Send to post.
Replying to a Post
Section titled “Replying to a Post”- Find the post you want to reply to.
- Click Reply below the post.
- Type your reply and send it.
Replies are nested under the original post, keeping conversations organized and easy to follow.
Reacting to a Post
Section titled “Reacting to a Post”Click the reaction icon on any post to add an emoji reaction. Reactions are a quick way to acknowledge a post without needing to write a reply.
