Getting Started with Console

Console is accessed from the Ilmiya platform navigation. This section covers how to sign in, what your role controls, and how to set up your organization context before using any features.

Accessing Console

1. Log in to your Ilmiya account.
2. Look for Console in the top navigation or app switcher.
3. Click Console to open it.
4. If you belong to multiple organizations, you’ll be prompted to select one.

You’ll land on the Console dashboard for your organization.

Organization Context

Console always operates within a specific organization. When you open Console, it loads the organization associated with your account. If you manage multiple organizations, a selector lets you switch between them.

Your organization name is visible in the top navigation — confirm it’s correct before working with any data.

Role-Based Access

Your role determines what you can see and do in Console:

Role	What you can access
Owner	Everything — full organization admin, all analytics, all inbox features, logs
Admin	Organization management, full dashboard, inbox, logs
Teacher	Class-level dashboard, inbox, discussions, messages for assigned classes
Viewer	Read-only access to selected areas

Note

If you can see Console but certain features are missing or greyed out, your role may not have permission for them. Contact your organization owner to review your role assignment.

Before You Start

After opening Console, two things to check:

1. Organization — Confirm the correct organization is loaded in the top bar
2. Space/Class — Select the class you want to work with from the class selector in the header

All dashboard data, discussions, and messages are scoped to the selected class unless you’re in organization-wide view.
