Statistics
The Stats tab gives you a comprehensive view of your Quran learning activity over time. Use it to see how consistently you’re engaging, how much you’ve covered, and where you rank within your organization.
Accessing Statistics
Section titled “Accessing Statistics”- From the Canvas home screen, click the Stats tab.
- Your full statistics dashboard loads.
What the Dashboard Shows
Section titled “What the Dashboard Shows”Contribution Heatmap
Section titled “Contribution Heatmap”A calendar-style grid showing your activity across the past year — similar to a GitHub contributions chart. Each cell represents one day:
| Cell colour | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Empty / light | Little or no activity that day |
| Medium shade | Moderate activity |
| Dark shade | High activity |
Use the heatmap to spot gaps in your practice and identify your most active periods.
Key Metrics
Section titled “Key Metrics”| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total pages read | Cumulative Mushaf pages you’ve read or recited |
| Total listening time | Hours spent listening to recitations |
| Average session time | How long your typical Canvas session lasts |
| Streak | Current consecutive days of activity |
| Longest streak | Your personal best streak |
| Rank | Your position on the leaderboard within your organization |
| Completion % | Percentage of the Quran you’ve covered |
Charts & Graphs
Section titled “Charts & Graphs”Visual breakdowns of your activity over selected time periods:
- Daily activity — bar chart of pages/verses per day
- Weekly trends — activity patterns across the week
- Progress over time — cumulative learning growth curve
Filtering Statistics
Section titled “Filtering Statistics”Use the date range filter to narrow your statistics to a specific period:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 3 months
- Custom date range
This is useful for reviewing your performance over a term, a month of Ramadan, or any specific study period.
Rank Tab
Section titled “Rank Tab”The Rank tab on the Canvas home screen shows your leaderboard position:
- Your current rank within your organization
- Total points accumulated
- How you compare to the top learners
Rankings are based on overall activity — pages read, recitations completed, and time spent.
