The default mode. Displays the Arabic text clearly with Tajweed colouring applied. No translation or transliteration is shown — designed for focused, uninterrupted reading.

Best for: Students who can read Arabic and want a clean reading experience.

Displays each verse with:

  • Arabic text
  • Transliteration — romanized pronunciation guide beneath each word
  • Translation — the meaning in your selected language beneath each verse

Tap any word to see its individual translation and grammatical role.

Best for: Learners who want to understand the meaning as they read.

Displays the Arabic text alongside Tafsir — scholarly interpretation and commentary for each verse or passage. Tafsir provides context, background, and explanation of the verse’s meaning.

Best for: Students doing deeper study of the Quran’s meaning and context.

Recite mode activates the AI recitation evaluation system. You record your recitation of each verse and receive instant feedback on:

  • Tajweed errors — pronunciation rule violations
  • Verbal errors — mispronounced words
  • Waqf errors — incorrect stopping points
  • Memorization errors — skipped or substituted words

→ See Real-Time Recitation for the full guide.

Best for: Students practising their recitation who want AI-powered feedback.

Judge mode overlays your saved recitation errors directly on the Quranic text. Words you previously mispronounced or made errors on are colour-coded so you can see exactly where your weaknesses are.

Best for: Reviewing past recitation performance and targeting specific words for improvement.

Memorize mode progressively covers words in the verse, challenging you to recall them from memory. Words are revealed one at a time as you progress.

→ See Memorization for the full guide.

Best for: Students actively working to memorize Quranic verses.
