Assignments
Assignments are tasks your teacher creates and sends to you directly. Unlike courses you browse on your own, assignments are pushed to you and typically have a deadline or specific instructions attached.
Types of Assignments
Section titled “Types of Assignments”Campus supports two types of assignments:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Assign | A self-paced task you complete on your own time — a lesson, quiz, or activity your teacher has assigned to you |
| Host | A live or scheduled session your teacher is running — you join at a set time and complete it together |
Viewing Your Assignments
Section titled “Viewing Your Assignments”- Click Learn in the top navigation bar.
- Look for the Assignments tab or filter within the Learn section.
- Your pending and completed assignments are listed here.
- Use the Assign and Host tabs to switch between the two types.
Completing an Assign Assignment
Section titled “Completing an Assign Assignment”- Click the assignment card to open it.
- Read the instructions provided by your teacher.
- Click Start to begin the lesson or activity.
- Work through it the same way as a regular lesson in the Lesson Player.
- Your score is submitted automatically when you finish.
Joining a Host Assignment
Section titled “Joining a Host Assignment”- Click the assignment card for the hosted session.
- Wait for the session to become active (your teacher starts it).
- Click Join when the session opens.
- Complete the activity alongside your class in real time.
Assignment Status
Section titled “Assignment Status”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Assigned to you but not yet started |
| In Progress | Started but not yet submitted |
| Completed | Finished and score recorded |
| Missed | Deadline passed without completion |
