Assignments

Assignments are tasks your teacher creates and sends to you directly. Unlike courses you browse on your own, assignments are pushed to you and typically have a deadline or specific instructions attached.

Types of Assignments

Campus supports two types of assignments:

Type	Description
Assign	A self-paced task you complete on your own time — a lesson, quiz, or activity your teacher has assigned to you
Host	A live or scheduled session your teacher is running — you join at a set time and complete it together

Viewing Your Assignments

1. Click Learn in the top navigation bar.
2. Look for the Assignments tab or filter within the Learn section.
3. Your pending and completed assignments are listed here.
4. Use the Assign and Host tabs to switch between the two types.

Completing an Assign Assignment

1. Click the assignment card to open it.
2. Read the instructions provided by your teacher.
3. Click Start to begin the lesson or activity.
4. Work through it the same way as a regular lesson in the Lesson Player.
5. Your score is submitted automatically when you finish.

Joining a Host Assignment

1. Click the assignment card for the hosted session.
2. Wait for the session to become active (your teacher starts it).
3. Click Join when the session opens.
4. Complete the activity alongside your class in real time.

Tip

Keep an eye on your Assignments tab regularly — your teacher may add new assignments at any time.

Caution

Host assignments are time-sensitive. If you miss the session window, contact your teacher — they may need to reschedule or provide an alternative.

Assignment Status

Status	Meaning
Pending	Assigned to you but not yet started
In Progress	Started but not yet submitted
Completed	Finished and score recorded
Missed	Deadline passed without completion
