Assignments

Assignments are tasks your teacher creates and sends to you directly. Unlike courses you browse on your own, assignments are pushed to you and typically have a deadline or specific instructions attached.

You’ll find them under the Assign tab in your Inbox.

Note

A Host tab exists in the code for live/scheduled sessions, but it’s currently commented out — the button doesn’t render, so it isn’t something you’ll see in the live app.

Viewing Your Assignments

1. Click the Inbox icon in the top bar, then Full Inbox.
2. Select the Assign tab.
3. Your assignments are listed here as cards (newest first) — use the list/grid button to switch to a list.

Opening an Assignment

The entire card is clickable — there’s no separate Start button.

1. Click anywhere on the assignment card.
2. Read the instructions provided by your teacher.
3. Work through it the same way as a regular lesson in the Lesson Player.
4. Your score is submitted automatically when you finish.

Note

If you click on an assignment you’ve already completed, it doesn’t start a fresh attempt — it opens straight into a read-only results/report view of that completed attempt instead.

Live or Game Assignments

Live/game assignments move through four states, each with its own badge and button:

Currently live (Published, active)	LIVE	Join Live Game
Closed	(card dimmed, no badge)	See Results — opens a live leaderboard/podium page
Expired without closing	Finished	No button — card fully disabled

1. Click the assignment card.
2. Wait for the session to become active (your teacher starts it).
3. Click Join Live Game or Join Lobby when it appears.
4. Complete the activity alongside your class in real time.
5. Once your teacher closes the session, click See Results on the card to view the live leaderboard/podium.

Tip

Keep an eye on the Assign tab in your Inbox regularly — your teacher may add new assignments at any time.

Assignment Status

There’s no single set of status labels — what you see depends on where you’re looking:

Where	Statuses shown
Summary cards	4 cards always shown together: Total points, Total assignments, Pending, Completed
Live/game assignments	Badges: Lobby Open, LIVE, Finished
Other assignments	Pending (window not yet open), Finished (past its end date), Closed (ended by the teacher) — each disables the card

Note

There’s no “Missed” status anywhere in Campus — an assignment past its deadline without completion doesn’t get its own distinct label.
