Spaces
In Console, a Space is a class — the core unit that organizes students, analytics, discussions, and messages. Everything in Console is scoped to whichever space is currently selected. Switching spaces changes the data across the entire dashboard and inbox.
Accessing Spaces
Section titled “Accessing Spaces”Two ways to switch spaces:
- Header class selector — A dropdown in the top navigation bar showing your current class. Click it to switch to another class.
- Spaces page — Click Spaces in the Console navigation to see all your classes in a full list view.
The Spaces Page
Section titled “The Spaces Page”The Spaces page shows all classes assigned to your account:

- Search for a class by name
- Click any class to switch to it — the dashboard and inbox reload for that class
Class Context vs Organization View

| Organization view | Aggregated data across all classes in the organization |
Organization view is available to Admin and Owner roles. If you’re a teacher, you’ll only see classes you’ve been assigned to.
Switching Classes
Section titled “Switching Classes”- Click the class selector dropdown in the top navigation.
- Select the class you want to view.
- Console reloads — dashboard charts, inbox discussions, and message threads all update to reflect the newly selected class.
