AI Assistant
Canvas includes a voice-powered AI assistant dedicated to Quran learning. You can ask it questions about verses, request explanations, seek context, and have a natural voice conversation — without leaving Canvas.
Accessing the AI Assistant
Section titled “Accessing the AI Assistant”- Click Assistant in the top navigation bar of Canvas.
- The assistant interface opens.
- Allow microphone access when prompted.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”The assistant uses real-time voice communication — you speak, it listens, and it responds with both voice and text. The conversation is live and interactive, similar to speaking with a tutor.
- Click Start to begin a session.
- Speak your question or request clearly.
- The assistant processes your speech and responds in real time.
- Continue the conversation naturally — ask follow-up questions, request clarification, or change topics.
- Click End to close the session when finished.
What You Can Ask
Section titled “What You Can Ask”The AI assistant is designed for Quran-related learning:

Voice vs Text
Section titled “Voice vs Text”The assistant is primarily voice-based, but responses are also displayed as text on screen. This lets you:
- Read the response even in a noisy environment
- Refer back to earlier answers during the session
- Copy any part of the response for your notes
