Getting Started with Studio

Studio is accessed from the Ilmiya platform navigation. This section covers how to get in, what your role controls, and how to orient yourself before building content.

Accessing Studio

1. Log in to your Ilmiya account.
2. Look for Studio in the top navigation or app switcher.
3. Click Studio to open it.

You’ll land on the Studio home screen.

Organization Context

Studio operates within a specific organization. When you open Studio, it loads the organization tied to your account. All content you create — pathways, courses, quizzes — belongs to that organization.

Role-Based Access

Your role determines what you can create, edit, and view:

Role	What you can do
Owner	Full access — all content, assignments, results, settings
Admin	Manage all content and assignments, view all results
Editor	Create and edit content and quizzes
Teacher	Manage assignments and live sessions for assigned classes

Note

If a feature or section is missing from your Studio navigation, your role may not have permission for it. Contact your organization owner or admin to review your access.

Before You Start Creating

Two things to confirm before building content:

1. Organization — Confirm the correct organization is loaded
2. Class — If you’re assigning work, make sure you’ve selected the right class from the class selector

Content you create is available to any class you assign it to — confirm class selection before publishing assignments.
