Collections & Pathways
A Collection (also called a Pathway or Catalog) is the top-level container for your catalog. Everything you build in Studio — courses, lessons, quizzes — lives inside a collection.
Accessing Collections
Section titled “Accessing Collections”- Click Catalog in the Studio navigation.
- You’ll see all existing collections displayed as cards.
- Use search to find a collection by name.
- Toggle between grid and list view.
Creating a Collection
Section titled “Creating a Collection”- Click + New or Create Collection from the Catalog page.
- Fill in the details:

| Name | The collection title — e.g. “Islamic Studies Year 8” |
| Status | Select public or private |
| Image | A cover image for the collection card |
- Save — the collection is created and appears in the Catalog.
Inside a Collection
Section titled “Inside a Collection”Once inside a collection, you’ll see its Indexes (courses) listed. From here you can:
- View existing courses within the collection
- Create new courses (indexes) inside it
- Edit the collection’s name, status, or image
- Delete the collection (and all content inside it)
Organizing Collections
Section titled “Organizing Collections”Collections represent a full subject or learning track. Some approaches:

Duplicating a Collection
Section titled “Duplicating a Collection”If you want to reuse a collection structure for a new class or year group, use the Duplicate option to clone the entire collection including its courses, sections, and components. You can then edit the content for the new group.
